The title of this episode says it all. If you don’t get the reference, check this out.
It looks like our Scooby Gang is going on a field trip to Nova Scotia. If you failed Geography class and don’t know where that is, here you go. Basically it’s cold there and it’s surrounded by a shit ton of water. Shane is chaperoning the trip and in attendance will be Damon, Stefan, Elena, Rebekah (what?), Bonnie and Jeremy.
As you might assume, Elena and Rebekah “continue their bitter rivalry.” Can we please see a vampire girl fight already? How awkward is it going to be with new lovers, Damon and Elena, hanging out with jilted ex-lover, Stefan? It’s going to be really freaking weird, unless Stefan has somehow moved on already. Doubt it. Damon, who has always been skeptical about Shane’s motives, thinks he’s leading them into a trap. Bonnie and Jeremy will be trying to figure out the message of the Hunter’s mark.
What’s the purpose of their little excursion into the wilderness you ask? Shane believes the secret of the cure lies in Nova Scotia. Shane will drop some more Silas and Qetsiyah (the witch) knowledge on them and give us some more insight into his own back-story. Damon, can you please slap some sense into these jokers? This dude is so fishy. I wouldn’t trust him with a bucket of water if my knickers were on fire.
Meanwhile, back in the Falls, our other favorite love triangle will be having some issues. Tyler will confront Klaus, presumably about him murdering his mother but who knows. As a result, “Caroline is caught up in the violence that follows.” We all know that Klaus and Tyler would never hurt Caroline intentionally (right?), so Caroline had to put herself in the middle of it somehow.
Will Elena and Rebekah duke it out? Is Shane really leading them into a trap? What’s going to happen when Klaus and Tyler come to blows? Share your thoughts, comments and predictions. #FangsOut
