You probably already know (and if you don’t, you should), that Being Human returns to SyFy January 14, 2013. Finally! Season 3 will consist of 13 episodes. We ended season 2 with Aidan being buried alive, Sally buying a one-way ticket to crazy town and Josh’s plan to kill Ray blowing up in his face. So, what can we expect to see in Season 3? A whole lot more drama, surprises and general badass supernatural amazing-ness. Let’s break down what we know so far.
1. We’ll be seeing some returning favorites as well as a few fresh faces. We can expect to see Aidan’s mentor, Bishop (Mark Pellegrino), a witch named Donna (Amy Aquino), the father of the pure bread werewolf twins named Liam (Xander Berkeley), a mortician named Max (Bobby Campo) and Aidan’s vampire son, Henry (Kyle Schmid). And of course, our beloved Aidan (Sam Witwer), Josh (Sam Huntington), Sally (Meaghan Rath) and Nora (Kristen Hager) will be returning.
2. Aidan will be getting a new love interest named Kat, a friend of Nora’s and a history scholar who is impressed by Aidan’s knowledge. Well, duh! He’s like 250+ years old. Apparently, she’ll think he’s too good to be true and wonder what he’s hiding. Maybe she’s hiding something of her own, too. Who knows.
3. Remember these two crazies from Season 2?
Well, their dad has landed in Boston, and he’s looking for them. I mentioned that we’ll be seeing Xander Berkeley (Nikita, 24, Terminator 2: Judgement Day) playing the father of these werewolf twins. He’ll be on the hunt for vampires (look out Aidan) and form a “unique relationship” with Nora. Interesting…
4. We know Aidan is going to be rocking a pretty sick beard in episode one. You can see it in all it’s glory in the Season 3 promo video here.
There are some things we don’t know, like where Aidan stands with Mother, how he gets out of the coffin and anything at all about Sally’s storyline. There are two huge things to be excited about right now, though: 1) Kristen Hager has been brought back for the entire season (she won’t be a “guest star” in the credits anymore), and 2) We have less than a month left until the premiere on January 14, 2013 on SyFy! Get excited people!
